Curis recruitment is currently partnering with this fantastic Victorian health service based on the stunning coast to help them find a Midwife to join their team on a casual agency basis. Job Details: Starting 5 January 2026 to 28 March 2026 Up to $84.00 per hour plus penalties plus super Uniform provided Full support provided throughout contract Full housing provided Travel provided Beautiful coastal region of Victoria Working 80 hours per fortnight. Night shift, Monday-Friday ,Weekends, Public holidays, Oncall , Shift times: 0700-1530,1330-2200,2130-0730 You will be working in a low risk level 2 birthing facility. There is between 60 – 80 births a year, with a lot of outpatients that are too high risk to birth there. You will be working with a small team of 8 Midwives, 1 Obstetrician and 1 Paediatrician. Shifts are (Morning, late, night), but you are also expected to be on-call for births. Each shift there is only 1 Midwife rostered, so you do work alone a lot. Monday-Friday the Midwifery Manager is there and on Tuesdays there is an additional Midwife rostered for clinic. If ever the Midwife on shift requires additional support, they call in the on-call Midwife. There are 2 Midwives present at every birth (Midwife on shift and on-call Midwife). Location: You will be living and work on the beautiful south-west coast of Victoria. The location has a combination of coastal, rural and low density urban areas making it a wonderful place to live, work and raise a family. Live by the sea, in town or on a farm – the choice is yours.
